5 Overseas Players To Keep An Eye On In IPL 2022

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is about to start in a few days and as you know, mega auction has just happened a month ago and many players have migrated from their old teams to the new ones. So here we’re representing you our 5 Overseas Players who we think can bang this year.

1. David Warner

This Left Handed Batter is as explosive as any batter can get and you can’t deny that David Warner is one of the reasons for many of us to watch IPL. He is an entertainer, no opposition can relax when he’s on the crease. Sadly last year we had to see him sitting on the bench even after performing consistently for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in many IPL seasons.

We don’t know the exact reason behind his execution from the Playing 11, but we think this season he will definitely show his worth and prove SRH wrong about his execution from the team.

However he will be playing for Delhi Capitals (DC) this season as they bought him for ₹6.25 crores. Therefore we added him in our overseas players list and will be a key reason to watch this season.

2. Kagiso Rabada

Kagiso Rabada is one of the players whose bowling you enjoys, even if he’s playing against your favorite team.

He was the main asset of Delhi Capitals (DC) in earlier seasons and a go to bowler whenever the captain needed a wicket.

We can’t forget his sizzling yorker to bowled out the in-form Andre Russell on his third ball of the Super Over which helped DC win that match.

However this season we will see him playing for Punjab Kings (PBKS) as they have bought him for ₹9.25 crores.

3. Faf Du Plessis

Faf has been a consistent run getter in past few IPL seasons that’s why he’s in our ‘five overseas players to keep an eye on’ list. He was an integral part of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the past few years which helped them to win against teams like Mumbai Indians (MI).

But in this season we will see him playing with Virat Kohli in Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). They bought him for 7 crores. We should also keep an eye this season on him too.

4. Tim David

Timothy Hays David (Tim David) is a Singaporean born Right Handed Cricketer and he plays for the Singapore National Cricket Team. Mumbai Indians bought him at the bid of 8.25 crores. He is not as famous in India as the rest of the players in our list but he has some serious hard hitting abilities and he can win matches for his team single handedly.

He got in the limelight when he smashed 71 runs in just 29 deliveries for Multan Sultans against Islamabad United in Pakistan Super League (PSL), that’s why he is in our list of 5 overseas players.

You should keep an eye on him when he gets the chance to play for Mumbai Indians this season.

5. Trent Boult

This left arm pace battery has an amazing IPL record. He took 25 wickets at an average of 18.28 in 15 matches for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2020 edition and overall he has 76 wickets on his name in 62 IPL matches with an average of

This season, Rajasthan Royals acquired him in ₹8 crores. He is a treat to watch especially in the powerplays when the ball doing some swings. He is as accurate as an Archer with his in-swinging deliveries for the right hand batters.

As you know, fast bowlers loves to hunts in pairs and this season Trent Boult has an another rising Indian fast bowler Prasidh Krishna who performed exceptionally well in the past few IPL editions for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will get the chance to gain some invaluable knowledge from this International Star.

With this we ends our 5 overseas players list to keep an eye on in this IPL season.
